Eging, is the one of methods to fish squids from Japan, using the squid lure “Egi”.
This squidding method is actually based on the very old traditional fishing style in Japan, and it’s told that was started at the middle of Edo Age (D.C.1603 – 1868).
If you have tried this method already, you should already know how hard and deep it can be. Do you think this can be very hard method to fish squids?
Well it might not be anymore… YAMASHITA has announced a new egi lure called “Eginno (Egi + Innovation) Search” that YAMASHITA says it makes Eging much easier.
Basic Eging method
The basic of Eging method includes:
- Sink egi down to the bottom
- Pumping and make action
But as above, yes sometimes it can be hard and you might lose which is the right, nice action to attract squids.
But YAMASHITA says, you don’t have to worry about it anymore with this new Egi lure “Eginno”.
Best Egi Lure for Beginners
This egi lure’s concept is literally “easy-to-fish”.
When you tried eging already, did you not feel that was very hard and difficult at first? Well I did very much. I still do sometimes still now.
And that can be a big barrier to start eging for some beginners and that is the thing what YAMASHITA wanted to reach with this new egi lure.
Non-experienced fishing girl’s report (Japanese) is up on their official website, and she says “I don’t know how I did but fished, I don’t know how I can explain…”. Meaning this lure has potentials that you can fish without high techniques… Really? Well possibly?
