How to get to Awaji Island
Awaji Island is a part of Hyogo prefecture which is at the west side from Osaka / Kyoto, the major traditional city.
You have 2 options to get into Awaji Island – rent-a-car and highway bus.
If you have a rent-a-car then you can use motorway to get there. If you use highway bus, you can catch them from JR Osaka Station / Shin Kobe JR Shinkansen the bullet train station / Sannomiya JR station to Sumoto Bus Centre in Awaji, and take 1:30 – 2:00 hours. Then the hotel staff will pick you up at Sumoto Bus Centre.
