Have you heard about this, DAIWA Shoreline Shiner seriese? The DAIWA’s top sales lures for game fishing. This lure is basically created for seabass fishing, but you can either aim fish-eaters such as Trevally, Tailor, Kingfish and so on.
The biggest point of those Shoreline Shiner series is the long casting. The body balance of the casting is perfect, so that you can search fish in wider area. This is one of the most popular lure in our staff. We have caught Trevally and Tailor a lot with this in South-East QLD – North NSW Australia.
In this movie the DAIWA fishing pro Katsumi Yamauchi introduces how to target seabass with the latest shoreline liner series Shoreline Shiner Z Vertice 120F-SSR / 120F / 97F, and describe the purposes for each size.
Although this movie is in Japanese, you can still check the lure actions for each lures.
In this movie, he – Katsumi fishes in shallow area at the river mouse.
Firstly, he uses 120F-SSR, the large surface – shallow diver model and check if fish are under the surface range. He then changed to 120F, a little deeper diver model, to check middle-deep range as he did not get any bite.
As he did not get any bite again but he felt the lure touched some bait fish at the deeper range, he changed the lure to 97F, as he expected fish may not be very attractive, and the bates can be smaller.
For a little while later he finally catch the fish at the point where he touched the bat fish in between different currents.
As you know reeling speed can be varied by target fish but these lure rotating technique can also be used to other type of fish. Cast, reel, think, and change lures… And boom!
