Description
Nearly 20Saltiga!? Ridged Saltwater Spinnning for Affordable Price
New “Monocoque Body” saltwater spinning reel from DAIWA – 21 Certate SW is out now.
Renewal model of Catalina, is now named as Certate SW, has Monocoque Body – which is actually, exactly the same body frame as DAIWA 20 Saltiga, for affordable price – as DAIWA staff says.
Very strong, light and ridged Monocoque Body includes larger drive gear, which creates stronger power ever, with very solid clearance, and this is brought back from 20 Saltiga.
Air Rotor, made by DAIWA’s carbon material ZAION, is also brought from previous 15 Saltiga, which is right yet strong.
Now the body is same in between 20 Saltiga and 21 Certate SW, the? main differences are the amount of ball bearings, the rotor.. and the color.
As 20 Saltiga has solid metal rotor, which is heavy at the beginning of spin, but hard and strong against gigantic monster fish.
21 Certate SW has carbon Air Rotor from 15 Saltiga so the spinning is really light and smooth, but again strong enough even for 10-20kg fish.
More advantage of this reel – the size has up to #18000-H, that you can spool braided line #8 – 300m, that is normally around 120-140lb of strength.
Another great choice will be yours now.
