Here, we introduce you the new overhead bait caster reel from SHIMANO.
This bait reel is actually for salt water fishing, like small game / off shore fishing and based on Aldebaran ’15.
When you see the first look, yes it looks very similar to Aldebaran but just changing deeper metal grey x red colours… But no no, inside is quite different.
Body – The Light, Tough, Small and Fit to your hand in perfection
If you tried Aldebaran before, you may already know that reel’s light weight and fit to your hand.
This Stile ’16 actually has thinner body (2mm thinner on both side of the spool) but still the same capacity, the light weight and toughness by HAGANE body. That smaller shape will fit to your hand more, plus the long-51mm power handle (Aldebaran: 42mm) gives you powerful and smoother reeling, that can be the big advantage for your fishing, especially for light jigging game.
Exciting Drag Sound
Do you have any spinning reel? Then you can see it easily, lots of bait casting reel doesn’t really have drag sound when the line is pulled out by big fish, but this Stile ’16 has it.
It actually lets you realise when the line is dragged out – meaning of the big fish sign, also it will give you more excited time of battling with the dream fish!
Spec and Release Date
Despite the based model Aldebaran’15 has PG and HG, Stile’16 has PG (gear ratio: 5.8 / retrieve range: 58cm) and XG (gear ratio: 8.0 / retrieve range: 80cm).
Of course this has SVS Brake System so not only the bottom fishing from boats, but you can cast and search wider area.
Release date will be later February 2016.

Hi. Centrifugal blocks could be lost very easy, what happened with me during first use of this reel. And where it can be bought now? Good idea but not good technical decision.
Sincerely Pechnikov V.
Oh no, I am so sorry to hear that. Firstly you will need to talk to the fishing tackle shop you bought the reel. As stile is also sold out in the world wide you may get one from local store, or get the store to order it. If the blocks are actually different in between Japanese and others, and if you bought the reel from Japanese shop, unfortunately you may need to get one from Japanese tackle shop.
