This SHIMANO OCEA EJ is the offshore jigging rod only for electric jigging.
Electric reel is shaped like overhead reel but heavier than normal jigging reels. So if you use normal jigging rods with electric reel your tackles can be a bit unbalanced.
But if you use normal bait fishing rod for electric reel – you will see the different feeling. Offshore bait fishing rods has very narrow and sensitive tips so that you can even catch delicate bites. And this can be too soft against jigging.
Now this SHIMANO OCEA EJ is like offshore jigging rod with reel sheet for electric reel.

I wanted to buy a rod for my beast master 2000. Length of rod about 1.6 to 1.8 meter. No joint, one piece rod.
Please recommend me a suitable rod. My budget around SGP $500.00
HI Jaafar, it really depends what target you are after, and how your rigs will be but what about offshore jigging rod, like DAIWA Saltiga BJ 62XHB, or DAIWA Catalina BJ 62XHB. Not for baitfishing rod the tip is harder, but as long as you hold still you can pickup bait sign. I am so sorry but we don’t have those stocks so you’d need to to check on Rakuten Global by yourself.
Any portable battery for Shimano BM 2000 EJ and for Daiwa ?

Unfortunately we cannot sell / deliver any batteries as there’s no shipping way to achieve, however if you can’t purchase SHIMANO / DAIWA’s genuine batteries in your country then 12V/15Ah is the spec those mobile batteries sold in Japan have.
Just please be careful and proceed at your own risk if you try to fit none genuine ones, as we cannot guarantee anything.
