When you lift up the rod tip the wave gets a little larger and stronger, to appeal the lure for fish more.

When you lower the tip down further then the first 2 – 3 pieces head down under the water and the wave after lure will be reduced and weakened.

This lure can also be used by drifting and twitching, so it can immitate nearly-dead baitfish.
