DAIWA Zillion series – the baitcasting reels and rods with “tough” concept has been released these years, and have lots of fans around the world.
Now this Zillion gets new model – DAIWA Zillion 10.0R / 10.0L SV TW, with extra speed gear.
Gear ratio 10:0 – 106cm retrieve range super speed reel
Gear ratio 10:0, retrieve range 106cm, has been desired by bass fishing pro angler – Takahiro Omori, who has been being active in Bassmaster Elite, USA for years.
If you find the biting spot, you don’t need to search wide area, but just cast to the spot, make action for a bit, and others – just retrieve your lure.
And with this super speed reeling, you can retrieve your lure quickly and will have more times of casting, that may increase your chance to get bites.
Strong body housing with machine-cut full metal
Extra fast speed reeling is also supported by strong body housing – with machine-cut full aluminium alloy metal, the tough but still light full metal body.
DAIWA says, this full metal housing body makes smoother reeling.
SV Spool and TWS
As of the name SV TW, this Zillion 10 has SV Spool made by G1 duralumin.
SV Spool – Stress-free Versatile Spool is untroubled spool with wider range of lure weight capacity. This makes casting easier with lots of different weight lures by combination with magnet break system.
TWS – T-Wing System level winder has DAIWA’s original feature for baitcasting reels, which changes level winder width at retrieving and casting.
When reeling the level winder uses narrow retrieve position, and it uses wider casting position when casting, that makes smoother line releasing.
Spec and release date
This DAIWA Zillion 10 SV TW only has one size, with right handed and left handed.
And this is already out at the last December 2019, and you can either try at Fishing Festival 2020.
