Now DAIWA also announced some new products, especially for light game fishing.

Gekka Bijin Air TW PE Special – Baitcasting Reel
For baitcasting angler.. Small saltwater fishing brand of DAIWA Gekka Bijin now has baitcasting reel.
This is specially made for light saltwater game fishing, and adjusted for light braided line with Φ28mm G1 dularumin Air Spool and TWS. Air Brake is tuned for light braided line as well, therefore you can even use 1-2g lures with no stress.
Drag sound is also featured so you can clearly understand when the line is dragged.
DAIWA’s new baitcasting concept Hyperdrive Design.
Price is \45,400 and the reels are already on sale.
BASARA IC
High-end overhead reel for offshore fishing now has IC monitor.
Conceived by Hyperdrive Design- “the initial use feeling lasts longer” contains Hyperdrive Digigear, Hyper Double Support, Hyper Armed Housing – Full Aluminium, and Hyper Tough Clutch, so that the smooth retrieve feeling lasts longer.
IC counter shows depth and reeling speed so you can catch more information from under the water, and adjust your rigging to the right way shown by your fish finder.
2 sizes with right / left handles are available, from 67,000 – 70,000 yen and already on sale.
21 PRESSO
DAIWA’s light trout game fishing brand “PRESSO” is releasing this spinning reel with ZAION Monocoque Body.
The lightest weight in PRESSO brand, under 150g and reeling feeling with oiled ball bearings.
Extra super dularumin Machine Cut Tough Digigear is also used, so the gears are very smooth and ridged.
2 sizes – LT1000/LT2000 with low gear ratio specialised for light trout game, sold by 48,700 yen. Release date is not yet set due to coronavirus pandemic.
Gekka Bijin MX
All for light saltwater game fishing, Gekka Bijin brand releases new middle class rod, Gekka Bijin MX.
Well designed blank is light, sensitive and easy to control your rigs, and absorbs very well shocks from fish, and has power to bring them up on surface.
Guide sizes are a little bigger to make longer cast distance, Air Sensor Reel Seat is made by carbon material and easy to control the rod, and easy to catch information of under the water.
Price is in between 27,400 – 34,400 yen, and already released.
Gekka Bijin MX A – Ajing
This is the specialised model of Gekka Bijin MX targeting aji fish – horse mackerel “Yakka”.
Light weight new blank is refined for yakka, HVF Nanoplus gives high response and therefore any small bites can be caught.
Price is in between 25,400 – 31,900 yen and again, on sale already.
MD ISO Tamanoe
New long length landing pole for rock shore area is releasing from DAIWA.
HVF Nanoplus blank wrapped by X45 so light yet strong, very useful.
Bottom cap is light and has big exhaust hole to let in / out air very easily.
Lenghs are 2 types, 5m and 6m (normal / BIGONE) and prices are from 41,000 – 56,500 yen.

21 Morethan Branzino EX AGS
Flagship rod from DAIWA’s seabass game fishing brand “Morethan” has been renewed.
Blank has totally been refreshed and redesigned with SVF Compile X Nanoplus therefore lighter and narrower than ever.
X45X – X45 Full Shield enhance anti twist ability and V-Joint α makes joint parts much smoother like one-piece rods.
This enhanced blank also gives you wider range of lure capacity, like 97ML/M can use 7-40g and the weight is only 147g.
Price are from 75,500 – 88,500 yen and release date is this October 2021.
21 LABRAX AGS
Middle class seabass game fishing rod from DAIWA is renewed.
Especially this rod now has new 3 piece model – 110M-3 and 110MH-3.
V-Joint creates smooth bending curv on jointed parts so this multi piece rods are super smooth.
New blank is designed especially for castability and sensitiveness, that are highly important for middle class game fishing.
HVF Nanoplus carbon material is used for the blank and it is wrapped by X45 technology.
Air Sensor is also featured, which is made by light strong carbon material, that creates light weight and extra sensitiveness.
AGS – Air Guide System is also featured, that has carbon material guide frame so that much lighter than metal material guide frames.

21 Megathis AGS – N
New 21 Megathis AGS-N is a special fishing rod fo “ISO” rock shore freshbait fishing.
New blank with HVF Nanoplus material, designed by ESS – Expert Sense Simulation system and new technology V-Joint α creates beautiful bending curv from butt to tip.
This smooth curving blank absorbs fish action really well, but holds well and can bring them up to the surface.
AGS Type-0 Guide System is very light carbon frame ceramic ring, so line control can be much easier.

CP-X2
For baitcasting beginner – all in one pack from DAIWA is now releasing baitcasting model.
128cm – 4’2″ Rod is very small and handy telescopic blank with separatable handle, which becomes to 31.5cm as closed length.
Baitcaster reel spec is really basic – 6.3:1 gear ratio, 63cm retrieving range per crank, 5kg max drag power, 3/1 ball bearings with 90mm double handle and mono 12lb-120m line capacity, which is enough for short fishing break time.
Price is 18,000 yen and will be on sale next month, November 2021.
Morethan Monster Slider 160F
16cm big bait pencil bait is out from Morethan – seabass brand of DAIWA.
Berry section is “V” shaped like boat hulls so that it creates quick and wide action.
Strong action with super rattle sound can gather fisheaters very well.
This Morethan Monster Slider 160F has 8 colors with the body of 160mm / 51.2g, price is 2,200yen and will be out soon at November 2021.
SALTIGA KY JIG II ADEL
Designed especially for offshore kingfish jigging.
Kyushu Genkai sea, one of the most famous kingfish jigging area is the main target and tested this jig.
Asymmetry slim long but rounded body is easier to jerk and drops speedy but it slides well when jerking.
Adel hologram includes some different flash patterns that can gather fish from further area.
