Go fishing anytime, anywhere – is one of the big keyword in 2020 fishing industries and plenty of mobile rods are released from many fishing brands in Japan.
And this is one of them but great flexibility – rod and reel combo packed in one bag, with rig box are coming from DAIWA, Japan.
All-In-One Compact Box
DAIWA CP-X1 is not only a compact rod or box – but includes a rod, a reel and a tackle box all ine small soft case.
Box size is 34cm (h) x 17.5cm (w) x 8.5cm (d) which can be fit in your daily bag easily, and you can fit everything in it, so that you can go fishing literally anytime, anywhere – like on the way to school, office, gym, restaurant or on the way back home, or even in your break time. You just bring this tiny bag, set, then just “play”.
Rod is 130cm (4’3″) length telescopic compact rod, that the closed length is just 30cm. Lure weight capacity is 1-10g which is good enough to play short session against small fishes just besides your living area.
Reel is not like low price range, with line capacity of mono 4lb – 100m / 6lb – 60m, which also means PE#1 – 100m / PE#1.5 – 60m. I would assume if you set PE#0.8 you may be able to wind 120-140m around.
MAX Drag power is 3kg, with 3/1 ball bearing / roller bearing.
CP-X1 also includes small rig / tackle box inside, that you can place rigs / small lures and everything fits in just one small bag. Very handy isn’t it!?
Of course you can set this CP-X1 for your kids too. They can place this box in the cage of bicycle. You can then teach how to set up gears and fish just in front of them.

As DAIWA’s official announced this CP-X1 All In One box are coming on December 2020.
