HyperDrive Digigear is whole renewed new Digigear, so that smoothness and durability is enhanced more than ever – as DAIWA official says.
Hyper Double Support
New support system for pinion gear, that 2 ball bearings are supporting both side of pinion gear so reeling can be smoother but powerful.
Hyper Armed Housing
Totally redesigned full metal housing by Magnesium, which gives high durability, toughness but light weight than other lower spec reels.
Hyper Tough Crutch
Redesigned baitcaster crutch so toughness and durability is highly enhanced – as DAIWA official says.
New SV Spool Function – SV BOOST Creates Great Cast Feeling
Personally this is one of biggest concern for me about DAIWA’s new baitcasting reels.
SV Spool reels are very nice, especially for lighter rigs. Quick response, light and smooth SV Spool can give you ability to use 5,6g rigs, or even lighter sometimes.
But as others reviewed already, did not feel it was for longer casting.
Now this SV BOOST has a little different brake system.
This new SV BOOST system now has 2 type of brakes, which firstly uses stronger brake type at the beginning of your cast but will then switches to weaker type when cast is ending, so Mag Brake can control spool spins more sensitively, delicately to create best cast result with much less line troubles.
Specs and Release Date
21 STEEZ LTD SV TW only has 1 size as well as others – 1000 with mono line capacity of 14lb (#3.5) /45-90m.
Gear ratios are listed 2 types, normal speed gear or H (high speed gear).
Announced releasing date is this December 2020, which also means you may be able to go purchase by the end of this month!
